The Higher State

Creating high-caliber, authentic ‘60s psych-folk janglers, acid-punk garage stompers and Texas-style psychedelic rockers, The Higher State coalesced in 2005 in the microscopic village of Sandgate, just outside Folkestone, Kent in southeast England. There they developed the unique “Sandgate Sound” that continues to inform their music.  

Now based in Glastonbury, the band uses the vinyl medium to fashion artifacts specifically devised to blow all the right minds.
