The Belltowers
Based in Orlando, Florida, The Belltowers were formed in 2004 by Paul Mutchler (formerly of garage-psych legends The Lears) on vocals and guitars; Eddie Foeller on guitars and harmonica; Marshall Huggins on vocals, bass and organ; and the band’s most recent addition, Bill Langbein, on drums.
Influenced by folk-rock, psychedelia and power pop, the band shares a common love of The Byrds, The Who, The Beatles, The Kinks, Gene Clark, Love, Big Star, Teenage Fanclub, and The Rain Parade. They employ vintage instruments (Rickenbacker, Gretsch, Epiphone, Fender, and Guild) to play their jangly, harmony-laden songs.
